Ox Drilling the enterprise was incorporated in Ndola, Zambia on 16th May 2005 and drilling commenced in August 2005 in the Democratic Republic of Congo with a new Longyear LF90 Long Stroke Diamond Drill Rig for COMISA First Quantum, followed in September by a Reverse Circulation Drilling program with a new Super Rock 5000 Drill Rig for AMBL.
To support our customers varied drilling requirements Ox Drilling has expanded rapidly and now maintains field operations and offices in Zambia and Zimbabwe. Our fleet now comprises 18 drilling machines being 13 by Diamond Drilling rigs and 5 by Reverse Circulation Drilling rigs. The majority of our supply vehicle fleet is all-wheel drive to ensure the proper supply to all drilling units even at the remotest sites.
